123. Empanadas De Jamon Y Roquefort (Ham And Roquefort Empanadas)

Ingredients

cooking spray

12 empanada pastry discs

2 cups cubed Roquefort cheese

2 cups cubed ham

1 egg, beaten

Direction

Turn the oven to 400°F (200°C) to preheat. Spray cooking spray over 2 baking sheets to coat.

On a flat work surface, place pastry discs. Dab around the rims with a small amount of water. In the middle, put Roquefort cubes and some ham, then fold over with the pastry and seal by pressing with a fork.

Remove the empanadas to the prepared baking trays. Brush over the tops with the beaten egg.

Put in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until turning golden brown.
